Alexie Katz – principal
Alexie Katz is a trained Montessori teacher. (birth – 6 years old).
She has been working as a professional teacher for the past 17 years in the United States, United Kingdom and South Africa. Her experience includes:
- Miss Wilcox Nursery School London where she taught 2 – 4 year olds
- A au-pair and nanny agency which she set up and ran for 6 years
- private play groups which she ran for 18months – 3 year olds in Cape-Town
- Set up her own pre-school in Sea Point Cape-Town, (Kids on board)
Lexie’s aim is to create a friendly, secure, well-balanced, stimulating and nurturing environment, and to build a strong foundation for future growth and development for the children at African giggles.
She is passionate about children, and looks forward to getting to know each and every one of yours.
Almarie Temmers
Almarie Temmers is a qualified grade R teacher. Almarie did an Environmental course which was part of the environmental Education in ECD learning Programme in the Flower Valley Conservation Trust.
Almarie worked for 6 years as a teacher aid at Mispah School for Learners with Special Educational Needs. She is patient, loving, and hardworking but most of all has true passion for children.
